Drainage System Challenges
All earth retaining walls require proper drainage to relive hydrostatic water pressure that will inevitably build behind the wall. Without proper drainage, the wall will fail over time. Unfortunately, many drainage systems are expensive to install on new construction or to retro fit to existing walls.
Over time traditional drainage systems will clog and fail. In the best case, failure leads to expensive excavation to fix the drainage or cost prohibitive rebuilding of the wall.
Weep Hole Drainage Systems
Traditional weep holes are an inexpensive drainage solution that is often installed to relieve the hydrostatic and hydrodynamic water pressure from behind the wall. But traditional weep holes may clog thus blocking water drainage or fail and allow soil loss which leads to sinkholes. Expensive excavation is the only way to fix traditional drainage systems when they fail.
Introducing the JET Filter
Our weep hole filters are an ideal solution. Our filters contain a geotextile filter fabric in a removable, cleanable cartridge. The filters can be easily and inexpensively cleaned or replaced if they ever clog or fail.
Our filters come in ABS for vinyl walls, powder coated for fresh water and inland applications while our stainless steel products are designed for marine and other corrosive environments.
JET Filter components are 100% made in the USA and are compliant with the Buy American Clause.
